So, just to be clear, Preecha provides one of the best service experiences I've had in my 50+ yrs on this planet, BUT, I am going to provide an honest review. I bought the pro GT 10 as a second scooter, thinking this would be an upgrade from my Teverun Blade GTll. I bought it having been sold on 1) range, 2) performance, 3)reliability. Range is not even close to the Teverun...about half the distance under side by side riding with my 79yr father of similar weight. Performance- not even close to the Teverun 1600watt motor vs Elektro 1400. The Elektro doesn't come close. The throttle in dual motor in mode 5 is rediculously on/off with no ability to modulate the throttle. It's all go or no go. I can modulate the acceleration on the Teverun in mode 5 beautifully; absolute control even at walking pace. The Teverun's suspension is amazing on road, but will bottom out jumping off curbs. The 11inch wheels of the Teverun are so forgiving at speed. It cost $2800
The Elektro was $3750. I figure I am paying the extra for local servicing and (evidently, but yet to be seen) reliability. Smaller motors, 10 inch nobbly tyres, vs 11 on the Teverun. 60v 30amh Samsung battery vs 60v 26hr battery on the Teverun. The Elektro is so much faster charging BUT I have no idea how much range is left when I ride because it changes constantly on the dash based on how much you open the accelerator, so you just never know how much range is left leaving me with no confidence to range test. The suspension is better off road but isn't adjustable, which is really poor for a $3750 piece of kit. The vertical throttle is problematic and hard to modulate riding off road in comparsion to the trigger throttle on the Teverun and comprimises your grip on the handlebars. The suspension is more progressive on the Elektro but still lacks on trails. I'm undecided about keeping it really. If I do it will be for trail riding when I feel like it, rather than everyday commuting or doing any distance which was the primary reason I purchased it.
Assembly instructions were a bit minimal - didn't tell you to check the steering stem bolts which happening to be very loose. Lucky I checked.
The charging port is in the worst place, right behind the front wheel where it gets showered in debris and splashes from puddles. Of all the places they could have put it, that's probably the worst place.
The open triangle at the front of the foot deck needs covering it so your legs / pants don't get showered in debris and puddle splashes. The rear wheel cover / mudguard could do with going over the the tyre a bit further so your back doesn't get sprayed when you ride through a puddle.
The 40km distance is way off. I ( 95kg ) ride on pretty flat ground at 25kph, it can only do about 20km before starting to slow down. After 25km it's dead and I'm walking. I have to charge it before the return trip each time, not what I was hoping for. Could have bought a cheaper one and charged it each time.
The disc brake squeals really loudly. How can I fix that?
The tail light / brake light is good how it goes brighter and flashes when you brake. The bell is really good.
Had a great experience, model is comfortable and great service
Thank you.
5 star Servcie at Scooteroo
Preecha actually saved me the minute I walked into the shop I felt welcome and well looked after.
I walked into the shop with a unreliable scooter and upgraded to the elektro 911. This scooter is great! I ride it everyday to and from work and it’s just what I needed
Thank you for being so helpful and the service was unbelievable, I couldn’t thank you enough!
It bluetooths to phone for security, but strong wifi signals boot it off, so on a 1km ride I have been locked out up to 4 times which means power off, and relogin to connect. What a pain.
